The Department of Dynamics and Strength of Machines and Strength of Materials traines specialists in the specialty 131 "Applied Mechanics", educational program "Dynamics and Strength of Machines".

The professional activity of the graduates is related to calculated and experimental studies of the structural strength, durability and reliability of transport, energy and other machines and equipment, aviation, rocket and space technology with the use of modern information technologies.
Students of Master's education program have the opportunity to study:

  • at the joint Ukrainian-German Faculty of Engineering of the Otto von Guericke University (Magdeburg, Germany) and Igor Sikorsky KPI.;
  • under the double diploma Master's program of the Poznan University of Technology (Poznan, Poland) and Igor Sikorsky KPI;
  • for the program of dual education of the engineering company PROGRESSTECH-Ukraine and Igor Sikorsky KPI and in the specialized primary science center “KPI - PROGRESTECH-Ukraine - Boing-Ukraine” with with further employment in PROGRESTECH Group of Companies.

Educational program "Dynamics and Strength of Machines" has been passed International accreditation procedure and designated as satisfing the requirements of European engineering educational program

 

Students of the Master's program «Dynamics and Strength of Machines» have the opportunity to study under the dual education program implemented by Igor Sikorsky KPI in cooperation with the engineering company PROGRESSTECH-Ukraine, which provides engineering services to the world's leading manufacturers of aviation equipment, develops software and design solutions for transport and industrial infrastructure companies.

Dual education (from the atin. “Dualis”) - a form of organization of the educational process, in which training takes place in parallel in the educational institution (university) and at workplaces of specialized enterprises.
